Wayne Blair seems to have done it all. He has played Othello, been directed by the great Philip Seymour Hoffman in Sam Shepard’s True West, and himself directed films: most notably The Sapphires, which tells the story of a group of Aboriginal women singing for the troops in Vietnam.
